Northside college prep act scores

Northside College Preparatory High School accepts a very limited number of transfer students each year. Our policy is to review transfer requests for students seeking enrollment in grades 10-12 in June/July after freshmen enrollment has been determined. Transfer applications for 9th grade are not reviewed and no transfers occur in the middle of the school year.

Interested applicants should provide the following information along with a signed copy of the form generated and emailed to you by completing this linked Google Form ​​​​​​​:

• An official, updated transcript with all previous course work including Semester 1 grades (international students must obtain a formal evaluation from the CPS Office of Foreign Student Services )
• A copy of current standardized test results. Acceptable standardized test scores include: EXPLORE, PLAN, ACT, PSAT, SAT, or any other nationally normed standardized tests
• Three letters of recommendation
• High school attendance records
• High school discipline records
• Any supporting documents that may be relevant ​​​​​​​

All applicants must be residents of the City of Chicago at the time of enrollment or by July 1st prior to the start of the school year.

Eligible candidates and their families are interviewed as a final step. International students interested in admission should contact Mr. Barry Smith (brsmith6@cps.edu). Transfer applications for the 2025-2026 school year must be postmarked by May 9th, 2025.
